However, when I think of fashionistas, I think Alexander Mcqueen, a British fashion designer who is known for his tailoring, bold designs that have changed the world of fashion, and jaw-dropping runway shows. Mcqueen is an artist because he communicates an emotional and philosophical idea through his work. Fashion is simply a means of creative interpretation therefore, art.
When I met new friends in Portland upon my arrival from Hawaii, they called me a fashionista because of my interest in fashion. Currently, Kate Moss is considered the fashionista of our generation. Her fame and reputation has taken a part in the stereotype of fashionistas if you read about her controversial party lifestyle, the stereotype lies within Kate Moss’s reputation. So thanks Kate.
